KDE Utils Lineup
Wednesday, 13 August 2008
One of the release process improvements that happened with KDE 4 is the move to have module maintainers. This has ment some of the lesser loved modules now have a greater sense of community which helps a lot for those apps which are otherwise developed all alone. Here is the kdeutils members who were at Akademy.

Pictures of Akademy 2008
Wednesday, 13 August 2008
So, 3.5 days of Akademy apparently means a lot of pictures being taken, I'm pretty sure everyone around has noticed this ;) Now I personally took a lot of pictures (again, most of you will have noticed that), which means that I also have a lot of data. Since I'm not really in the mood to upload 2.1G of data (at least, that's the current count), I'm not going to upload all of that somewhere (especially since a lot of those are actually out of focus, moved, generally blurry, bad, etc). If any of you think I made a nice picture of you, though, feel free to contact me and I'll see if I can actually find any such picture to mail you ;)

Getting KDE on an n810.
Tuesday, 12 August 2008
Since Nokia will be giving 100 n810 devices tomorrow at the Embedded and Mobile day at Akademy, I thought it would be a good idea to describe a bit how you can get KDE working on your brand-new device. Since it is already quite some weeks ago I first did this, I might be missing some crucial steps, so if you have any questions after reading this/playing with your n810, feel free to ask me, I'll be at Akademy for the entire week. Writing this I've discovered how bad I am at writing any kind of howto/documentation, but hopefully it will still be a bit helpfull, and else you should just ignore it :)

kdedevelopers.org spam cleansing
Thursday, 7 August 2008
Upon user reports we've found a new way spammers abuse our web site, so I've upgraded the drupal to the latest version to be able to install some more anti-spam features. We're currently slowly digging through the damage and delete stuff as necessary.

This week in Kubuntu
Thursday, 7 August 2008
Haven't blogged for a while, so here's some of the changes that have happened in Kubuntu recently.
I finally found some time for the KDE port of system-config-printer, still far from feature parity with the Gnome version and needs plenty of tidying up but should be usable.
