Marknote, KDE's WYSIWYG note-taking application, is finally ready for it's first release. Marknote lets you create rich text notes and easily organise them into notebooks. You can personalise your notebooks by choosing an icon and accent color for each one, making it easy to distinguish between them and keep your notes at your fingertips. Your notes are saved as Markdown files in your Documents folder, making it easy to use your notes outside of Marknote as well as inside the app.

New blogs.kde.org
I'm happy to announce the launch of our revamped Blogs.KDE.org website, now powered by Hugo instead of Drupal 7!
This switch was motivated by the fact that Drupal 7 is now reaching end of life and since Blogs.kde.org is the home of many individual blog for KDE hackers so it was important to keep it up to date and secure.

Video Recommendation: Coping with Other People's Code - Laura Savino
As someone suffering from a latent burnout thingy which has become more imminent in recent years and as someone who is still struggling to develop strategies to alleviate its effects on health and general well-being, I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to watch this video and let those points sink. Yes, even if you are not (yet) affected. The video is not all about burnout but about strategies for sustaining long-term sanity.

Are we transparent enough?
We changed the default mouse click behaviour to double-click for KF6.
