i guess yes im an idiot ‘cause i cannot agree with the great DanielS
No, just wrong. ;) The 'idiot' tag generally came from me getting sick of you repeating obviously incorrect crap when it was continuously pointed out to you that it was completely wrong, and attacking me. I couldn't be bothered constructing rational arguments after that - really, what's the point?
email notifications wont work reliably until we move to our new mail server at sourcextreme here.
If you want, I can host you on a dual PII 900 with 1GB of RAM, which has a 100MBit connection to switched multi-gigabit links (relatively unloaded). It has a working mail setup, too.
not sure about that one, ask the drupal guys.
Comments work fine, if your theme works. Look on Debian Planet, for instance - new comments are tagged with (NEW). Also, having 10 comments per page is pretty weak, IMO.
we run 4.2 here an upgrade is planned but not until i have the time.
4.2->4.3 upgrades are really seamless, but 4.0->4.3 really bites.
mean while ill get back to being an idiot since i seem to be so good at it
I voted "freedesktop.org rocks" but you're making it kinda hard to root for you. The people at freedesktop.org have an additional responsibility to be diplomatic, because the whole point of the organization is to engender cooperation. Even though posts like these are probably made out of simple frustration, they still have a potential to endanger the mission of freedesktop.org.
This place is a blogging platform for KDE contributors. It only hosts a fraction of KDE contributor's blogs. If you are interested in all of them please visit the agregator at Planet KDE.

Uhuh...
Was it really necessary to post this poll? =P
well its a good way
to get the attention he desires... but its a free blog here for the most part. until someone has a better poll lets see what people think :)
I can't be bothered ...
... rebutting this, so I'll just go to the ad-hominems, and say you're an idiot and ignore your stupidity.
It's interesting to see what KDE people have to think about fd.o.
Oh, and why not start making this site usable?
Scant regards,
Daniel

Just my $0.02 as a non-combatent.
