KDE Rocks!

I got an ADSL connection last week, but as my operating system was not supported, I was left to configure it myself. After around 12 hours fighting with my network interface card, I gave up, plugged-in another hd and installed an old copy of windows on it so that I could at least get the connection working via USB and read my e-mails. And so for two days I was kind of forced to use Windows 2000. Using it was not very pleasant, but in the end it was a good thing: it reminded me how great KDE is.

Kommander

A while ago, it was questioned on kde-devel why was KFileReplace in the KDE WebDev package. The reasoning is that no one looking for that application specifically would think it was inside a web development package. The same holds true for Kommander. It is not really a web development tool, so it is kind of weird to have it in WebDev. Kommander has great potential. It is easy to use, and is getting even more powerful.

Subversion?

I used to be the editor of KDE Traffic. Unfortunately, I'm having almost no free time, and working on it requires a lot of time. Besides it I also work on Ark and KEduca (that taking much of my time), on content for a Brazilian KDE site, and I stay in school for 12 hours a day.
