Symbian on Linux Foundation
Hmmm.... is Symbian connected somehow to the Linux Foundation?

No, why? The blue ring is Nokia. Practically it is though: The APIs for Symbian^3 are Qt/QtMobility, the same that are used under LF's MeeGo and Qt is a part of the LF's Linux Standard Base.
Because you have Symbian
Because you have Symbian overlapping Linux (dashed square)

It's Nokia. As confusing as it looks (draft!) the rounded areas are not products but groups of interest :)
hmmm
Not sure exactly what this represents, there is a combination of different kinds of entry: Companies, hardware categories, communities and software projects; what does it mean for A to intersect or be contained in B in this graphic?
"Embedded", "netbook & tablets" and "desktop" are laid-out together in rows but "phones" is over the other side in a circle - why?
"Microsoft" doesn't intersect "desktop" or "netbook" - why?
Meego, linux, Qt _are_ FOSS so shouldn't they be contained in "FOSS"?
Meego is more than linux but meego is always linux so should "meego" be contained in "linux", again it depends on what exactly you are trying to represent in the diagram. Same point for meego and Qt. (You could also have Qt or linux contained in meego but I don't think this is that kind of diagram).

The graph focuses on the topic, hence the Qt area is separate. Other FOSS things are secondary components in this situation. "Microsoft's desktop" is not related to the topic. If A does not itersect B for any A and B, this means nothing more than "it was hard to draw it that way" :) If A insersects with any B, then there's something important in common...
